A Senior C++/SQL Developer is needed urgently to provide development skills for projects with a Hedge Fund client, whilst being based from our offices in rural North Yorkshire.

The successful applicant will take a proactive development role and must be able to demonstrate excellent skills in the following key areas:-

• IT support & development - C++ / VC++
• Strong SQL
• Objexct Oriented programming & Excellent Design skills

This is a position working for a small team and emerging funds, candidates will be expected to be team players, be able to quickly assume control and take responsibility over their own work. They must be able to manage a varied list of projects, ranging from reporting and ad-hoc user requests, to the development of new business systems extending the existing infrastructure.

Much of the work involved will be in interpreting and acting on user requests, candidates must therefore have excellent communication skills. Occasional travel may be necessary.
